Jordan Love has performed dominanlty in race’s two and three in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Australia at Queensland Raceway leaving the round with one hand on the championship trophy.
Love has set QR on fire this weekend executing two more outstanding race’s today and setting a new the GT3 Cup Challenge record of 10-straight race wins.
“It was a great weekend here in Queensland. I felt like I wasn’t prepared enough for our last round in Sydney so I worked to ensure I was properly prepared heading into this weekend. It resulted in great results but also the ability to remain consistent all weekend,” said Love.
“There are still three more races remaining for the season so there are plenty of points up for grabs. We’re going to go into Phillip Island with the same attitude as we entered Queensland Raceway and aim to finish the season on a high.”
Finishing up in second place was Brenton Grove who bagged a decent amount of points to reinforce his championship mission. Grove was consistent all weekend and is looking strong as we steam towards the final round.
In the Elite class, a minuscule seven points separates Anthony Gilbertson and Sam Shahin after a thrilling weekend of racing at Ipswich.
Gilbertson took the round class win from John Karytinos and Shahin while Brendan Cook snatched the Class B round win.
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge now heads to Phillip Island for the final round of the season in five weeks time, the event being held from the 8-9 September.
